Former Trump Prosecutor Nathan Wade Accused of Contempt of Court by Ex-Wife

The former special prosecutor who was involved in the Georgia election case targeting former President Donald Trump is facing contempt of court charges for allegedly not paying child support and for his ex-wife’s medical bills, court documents submitted on Wednesday show.

Last month, Nathan Wade resigned from the Trump election case after Fulton County Judge McAfee gave Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis an ultimatum to either remove herself or Mr. Wade from the case. It came in response to allegations that Ms. Willis and Mr. Wade engaged in a clandestine relationship during the case, which the pair ultimately confirmed.

Mr. Wade’s ex-wife, Jocelyn Wade, has filed contempt of court proceedings against him and accused him of failing to pay child support and more than $4,000 for her urgent medical procedure, according to divorce filing submitted by Ms. Wade in Cobb County, Georgia.
