After prior reports on Joe Biden losing support among young voters and African-Americans, CNN’s senior data reporter Harry Enten is now tackling how Biden’s falling support among Hispanic voters could cost him two swing states.
According to Enten’s aggregate data, Biden’s lead over Trump among Hispanic voters dropped by a net 20 points from 2020, with his support falling from 59% to 51% among Hispanic voters, while Trump gained from 32% to 44%.
“Where are these campaigns going to be focusing if they’re focusing on Hispanic voters?... they’re going to be focusing on the Southwest, right? Nevada - 19% - that’s the percentage of Hispanics that makeup likely voters [in Nevada]. How about Arizona? They make up 17%.” Enten said.
