Sheetz lowers some gas prices for Thanksgiving week

Starting Tuesday, Sheetz is offering unleaded 88 fuel at a 40 cent discount, and it can be used in most vehicles.

All Sheetz locations in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio and North Carolina that off that fuel type will offer the discount until the end of November, according to a press release.

Unleaded 88 fuel is normally slightly less expensive than unleaded 87 and is considered better for the environment and better for vehicles’ engines. It can be used on any vehicle that uses regular gas and is 2001 or newer, although it normally gets slightly lower gas mileage.

Around a third of Sheetz stores do no offer the unleaded 88 fuel.
