Third Pentagon official suspended amid investigation into DoD leaks

Athird high-ranking Pentagon official was suspended on Wednesday, amid an investigation into alleged national security leaks that stem from the Department of Defense (DoD).

The suspension comes after Dan Caldwell, a top adviser to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, was placed on leave on Tuesday in connection with the leaks. The Pentagon announced last month that it was investigating leaks of national security information. 

Darin Selnick, the Defense Department’s deputy chief of staff, was also suspended on Tuesday.
